In order to serve Law Enforcement and the public, all team members are required to take the following:

Crime Scene Prevention

K9 Handler Courses

*IS-100 Introduction to the Incident Command System
*IS-200 ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
*IS-700 National Incident Management System


Cynthia Weesner - Chief

Instructor for The International Bloodhound Training Institute
Member of NASDN (North American Search Dog Network)
30 years of experience in graphic design, management and marketing
Employed for the last 28 years at Sunrise Christian Academy and Milk & Honey Ministries.
Milk & Honey is a missions/travel organization specializing in many Christian Endeavors
including worldwide humanitarian aid.
Cynthia has traveled extensively to Russia, Romania, Myanmar, Hong Kong, China & Israel

Employed by Spirit AeroSystems for 12 years.
Current position: Facilities, Building Maintenance & Site Services Senior Manager.
Previous Safety Monitor and Member of Facilities Safety Council.
Training History includes: Lockout, Tag, Tryout.
Principles of Occupation Safety and Health
Vehicles Operations-Sit Down Powered Industrial Lift Truck,
Aerial Platforms Vehicles and Man lifts.
Asbestos Awareness
Fall Protection
Previously employed in the Banking Industry for 18 years.
Last position held was Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer of a local bank.

Debbie McCurry - Officer

16 years experience in Quality Assurance Management.
Currently employed at Hospice Care of Kansas,
Business Management for Continuous Care.
Married. Two children, Tyler and Courtney.
Debbie's family is very active in Retriever Field Trials,
Member and Field Trial Secretary of the Sunflower Retriever Club.

Radio Communications, Compass and Navigation, Blood Borne Pathogens, Storm Spotters, Scent Theory, Lost Person Behavior, Crime Scene Preservation, Downed Power Line Safety, Alzheimer Behavior, Emergency Care for the K-9 in the field.
Terrie has shown AKC competition obedience for several years, participated in seminars by The Texas Alliance of Search K-9's, National Bloodhound Training Institute and Kansas Police Dog Association.  .
Terrie has been employed with USD 261 for 21 years and has worked wheat harvest for the Farmers COOP in Clonmel KS for the last 11 years. Terrie and her husband Larry live on 80 acres in Sumner County Kansas where they enjoy gardening and raising Belgian Draft Horses.
